The Innova Firebird sets the bar for overstable drivers in disc golf. For decades, it's been a reliable wind fighter and overstable flyer. It's the perfect combination of speed and stability to really gain that edge. Many have tried to copy it, but in the end, there is only one true Firebird.

This limited edition release is part of the Powergrip Collab Series with our friend and YouTuber Broderic. We love watching his travels around the country and all of his disc golf adventures. One of Broderic's favorite discs is the old Pre-Flight Number (PFN) Star Firebirds. When we planned this release, Broderic knew they had to also be true Flat Top Firebirds and that's exactly what these are.

Broderic says the profile is perfect on these Firebirds and even said "exactly like my PFNs." He loves the flight and describes them as a "perfect pushy Firebird."

The stamp was designed in collaboration with Innova and pays homage to the original PFN Firebird stamp. A portion of each Firebird sold will directly support Broderic.

Color Notes

The discs labeled as Plum and Pink are both quite swirly in colors. Expect a mixture of purples, pinks, and some shades of blue. Each are quite unique. Discs labeled as Hot Pink are just a solid pink color.

Star from Innova

Innova's Star Line plastic is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. Star Plastic offers almost the same outstanding durability of the Champion Plastic, plus improved grip like our Pro Plastic. High performance, longevity, and superior grip make Innova Star Line discs the ideal choice for your game.

Innova Discs started in 1983 and have been at the forefront of disc golf ever since. Based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, Innova Discs has a full line of discs from putters to distance drivers in many popular plastic types.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
