The Discmania Vanguard is a new fairway driver as part of the Creator Series for Discmania's Kyle Klein. It feels similar to and FD1 or an FD3, but with a smoother feel on the rim. The Vangurad can handle some power, yet isn't the most overstable fairway available. It will resist any major turn and carry straight as can be as it powers down the fairway. At the end of the flight, the fade is consistent, but not overwhelming.

The Vanguard can be a great hyzer disc, but can also hold its own on big anhyzer shots. It slots in nicely for those who like a little more speed in a fairway driver, but don't want anything too overstable.

Swirl S-Line from Discmania

Swirl S-line is a unique blend of S-line plastic with added color variation for unique look. This plastic is available for tournament fundraisers or team fundraiser discs.

Excellent grip in all weather conditions with great durability. This plastic ages well, which means that your disc doesn't change drastically in its flight behavior after a couple of collisions with trees. Recommended plastic for drivers.

The Finnish based company also has a home in Colorado. With three lines of discs, Originals, Evolution, and Active, Discmania aims to be at the forefront of the sport’s growth with unique discs, course design, and marketing. Founder and CEO Jussi Meresmaa was named Finland’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
