The Climo Disc Golf Streak is the first true fairway driver from the 12x World Champion. Ken Climo's new Streak pays homage to his nine-straight PDGA World Championships starting in 1990.
The Streak is a unique, yet very fun to throw fairway driver. It has a slightly wider diameter than most traditional Speed 7 discs which gives it a unique feel, but still quite comfortable. When thrown with power, the Streak will show a nice amount of high speed stability with virtually no turn. It may drift a bit, but these aren't flippy.
What is a bit surprising is the lack of any strong fade at the end of the flight. There is a little fade to cap things off, but it isn't going to giddy up too much at all.
Ken himself has called his his "favorite disc so far in the line."
Signature Line from Climo Disc Golf
The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.
Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.
Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.
Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.
Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
