The A1 is an over stable utility disc that fills the gap between midranges and putters. The A1 is perfect for power throwers who want to avoid the possibility of their shot turning over. The disc is consistent and reliable in all wind conditions and perfect for short, trick shots as well as high wind approach shots.

500 from Prodigy Disc

500 Plastic has been in development for quite some time, formulated and based on carefully considered player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. This provides an extremely confident grip on the flight plate, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feeling rim that we believe disc golfers are going to love.

Launched in 2013 and currently based in Georgia and with a strong presence in Europe, Prodigy has looked to bring an innovative approach to disc golf. With various plastic blends and a full line of discs, Prodigy aims to lead the future of disc golf.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
