The MVP Neutron Trail is a stable-to-understable distance driver in the James Conrad line of discs. Ever since the Trail's release, it has become an instant hit and a must-have for MVP fans. With the ability to carve out super straight shots and some easy distance thanks to it's surprising glide, the Trail has become an MVP staple.

This Special Edition Fission Trail brings the popular driver to MVP's lightweight technology. These first saw a sneak peak at the 2025 PDGA Champions Cup. The lighter weights help with those smooth hyzer flips, easy distance, and a forward fade.

These are only available in the Special Edition version. A stock version is not available at this time.

This stamp is a triple-foil design by John Dorn.

Fission from MVP Disc Sports

Fission Microbubble Technology produces an ultralight core with evenly distributed and imperceptible weight reduction microbubbles. The ultralight core allows an even higher GYRO overmold density relative to the core, yet still remaining in the lighter weight classes. This produces an entirely new type of lightweight disc never before seen in the sport, and beyond the capability of any other manufacturer. Weight distribution, stability, and durability of prior bubble discs are all improved upon by Fission. Skeptics of prior light or bubble plastics are in for a surprise, as Fission brings advanced disc physics and true high-tech molding into the lightweight plastics arena.

Led by two brothers, Brad and Chad Richardson have grown the Michigan based company into one of the most unique and innovative brands in disc golf. Home of the “overmold” disc and their Gyro technology, MVP Disc Sports have dedicated their efforts to a highly efficient line of discs from putters to distance drivers.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
