What's in the 2025 GYROpalooza Box?

As the year winds down, we've grown to expect an exciting release each year from MVP Disc Sports with the annual GYROpalooza Box. Designed as a celebration of the year from MVP, Axiom Discs, and Streamline, there are always some exciting goodies in each box that always bring great value for the price.

The 2025 GYROpalooza Box is here and available for preorder. It is set to release on Black Friday, November 28.

This year's box includes 11 total discs: 4 GYROpalooza Special Edition discs with multi-foil stamps, 2 R2 Neutron discs, and 5 Lab Second discs. Let's break down what you're getting.

The Four Featured Discs

Particle Glow Proton Particle

The Particle is back, and it's glowing. This out-of-production putter from MVP Disc Sports makes its return exclusively in the 2025 GYROpalooza Box. The Particle Glow Proton plastic blend gives it a fresh look, and the stamp by Brent Schoonover is clean.

The Particle offers a stable-to-overstable flight that's reliable in the circle and beyond. If you missed it the first time around, this is your chance to add one to your bag.

Neutron Wave - 10th Anniversary Edition

2025 marks 10 years of the Neutron Wave. As one of MVP's most popular molds, the Wave has been a staple in bags for a decade. This Special Edition 10th Anniversary stamp recognizes those great years of flights.

The Wave is known for its distance and glide. Whether you're a longtime fan or trying it for the first time, this anniversary edition is a solid addition to any collection.

Particle Glow Proton Pyro

The Pyro is back in non-Prism plastic for only the second time. The Particle Glow Proton Pyro brings the same overstable flight you expect from the Pyro, now in a stunning new look. The stamp, designed by ZAM, is based on real UFO sightings from the Sightings Department.

If you need a reliable overstable midrange that fights wind and holds hyzers, the Pyro delivers. This version just does it with a little more glow.

Plasma Echo

The fourth spotlight disc is the Streamline Discs Plasma Echo. A hidden gem in the Streamline lineup, the Echo is a stable-to-understable midrange that's perfect for hyzerflips and turnover shots.

The stamp, designed by Scott Oswalt, gives the Echo a fresh look. If you're looking for something smooth and workable in the midrange slot, the Echo is worth a throw.

R2 Neutron Discs and Lab Seconds

Beyond the four featured discs, the 2025 GYROpalooza Box includes 2 R2 Neutron discs and 5 Lab Second discs. R2 Neutron plastic is MVP's recycled premium plastic. Same great flight, more sustainable. Lab Seconds are discs with minor cosmetic imperfections that don't affect performance. You're getting quality plastic at a great value.

These discs round out the box and give you even more options to test, bag, or trade.

Brick and Mortar Edition

We will also have a very limited amount of the 2025 GYROpalooza Box Brick and Mortar Edition. The star of the show is the new Streamline Discs Proton Boost. As part of Eagle McMahon's Synergy Series, the Boost finally makes its debut. You'll also get 5 more Lab Seconds for a total of 17 discs.

With flight numbers of 9.5, 4, 0, 2.5, the Boost is a reliable overstable driver. They tweaked the initial design a bit to take a little of the fade out of the flight.

These will be available in-store only at our Bloomington, Illinois store on release day.

Release Day and Preorders

The 2025 GYROpalooza Box is set for release on Black Friday, November 28. We strongly suggest you preorder to reserve yours. We sold out pretty quickly on release day last year.

Aspect or Bokeh?

We've seen a lot of rumblings and discussion about the upcoming Axiom Discs Aspect and Axiom Discs Bokeh being a part of the GYROpalooza Box. As of now, it does not appear as if they'll be in the boxes.

We could look into our crystal ball and see some of the Lab Seconds being one, if not both, of the previously mentioned discs, but that is purely speculation on our part.

In the past we've seen some gems be a part of those Lab Second discs and we'd hope to see the same this year, but it is a mystery to us as well.
